Breathe

The journey of recovery takes many forms and shifts in all different directions - goes left, right, up, and down. How we describe the journey can also be depicted in different forms. This poem describes the tumult of the journey and the light that shines at the end.

Peace
Recovered
Longevity
Leaning in
Something comes
Out of nowhere
Don't see it
Bomb drops
Everything's chaotic
No control
Losing grip
Lost
Symptoms whisper
Caressing promises
Come to me
I see you
Need control
Need comfort
Breathe.
You can't help
Breathe.
I can do this
Breathe.
Keep Going.
