New Year, Same You!
Posted on December 30, 2019
As we enter a new year, we are bound to hear talk of resolutions all around us. Setting goals can be an exciting way to start a new spin around the sun, yet so many of them are rooted in diet culture – whether it's a new fad diet, a workout program or general changes to body size, shape, or weight.
It can be tricky to navigate these waters when these messages don't align with recovery.
So, instead of setting an intention to change, I wonder what it would be like to resolve to stay the same instead?
Maybe the best goal you can set for this new year (and new decade!) is to maintain the recovery focused habits with food, nutrition, activity, and self-care that have gotten you where you are today.
Happy New Year!
