The Renfrew Center of New York invites parents, families and the community to join us for a free workshop.
Join us to learn about eating disorders, signs and symptoms, treatment options, and how to support a loved one. You will also have an opportunity to meet Renfrew's clinical staff and tour our site.
Maggie Hartmann, LMHC, NCC,
is Clinical Team Leader at The Renfrew Center of New York. She received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from The University of Iowa and her Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Specialization, from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. Prior to joining Renfrew, Ms. Hartmann was Program Supervisor at BronxWorks where she developed and provided clinical oversight to a program offering trauma-informed education, counseling and enhanced case management services to households transitioning from shelter to independent living. She has extensive experience working with children and adolescents with complex mental health pathologies and their families across a variety of settings including hospitals, residential, day, and crisis stabilization treatment programs. Ms. Hartmann is a member of the National Board for Certified Counselors.
Baily Laitin, MHC-LP,
is Team Leader at The Renfrew Center of New York. She received her Bachelor's degree in dual studies of Psychology and Dance from James Madison University and her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University. Ms. Laitin began at the New York site as an Intern while attending graduate school, and later served as Primary Therapist. She specializes in the treatment of adolescents and families, trauma, mindfulness based psychotherapy, eating disorders, and parent education. Ms. Laitin is also a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200) and incorporates restorative movement practices into the therapeutic process.
