"Creativity is a path for the brave, but it is not a path for the fearless, and it's important to recognize the difference. Bravery means doing something scary. Fearlessness means not even understanding what the word scary means." — Elizabeth Gilbert, Big Magic

Moving through the recovery experience takes bravery, embracing the unknown, trusting in the process and allowing for all of the non-linear ups and downs you will experience. Moving through the creative process is similar in many ways.

In this webinar, Renfrew's Alumni Coordinator, Rachel Tenny, MA, LPC, will be joined by Eleanor Poore, MS, Creative Arts Therapist and Primary Therapist at The Renfrew Center of Massachusetts, who will explore the connections between the creative process and eating disorders recovery, both practices that involve "getting messy" along the way. Attendees will be provided with inspiration and ideas to foster creative growth and courage as you continue to move forward in your recovery journey.
